The Jewish Museum of Maryland maintains the largest collection of regional Jewish history resources in the country, and we would like to share them with you! Whether through exhibitions, programs, publications, or research, the collections are made available to the public in appropriate ways.

The JMM’s collections tell the story of Jewish life in Maryland, including immigration, family history, business, congregational life, leisure, consumption, recreation, and religion. The collections include 5,000 objects including paintings and textiles, 20,000 catalouged photographs, 700 oral histories and 875 linear feet of archival materials.

The collections of the Jewish Museum of Maryland are available for research in the library by appointment only. A $5.00 research fee is required.
